ALLOY STEEL ELBOW A234 WP91 SR 90DEGREE 406*80mm, SHORT RADIUS CE ELBOW
Alloy thick wall elbow, also known as stamping elbow, also belongs to elbow type. Alloy thick wall elbow is a steel elbow formed by hot pressing or forging. Its connection form is directly welded elbow and steel pipe.
Production process flow of alloy thick wall elbow:
Firstly, a polygonal ring shell with polygonal cross section or a polygonal sector shell with closed end is welded. After the interior is filled with pressure medium, apply internal pressure. Under the action of internal pressure, the cross section gradually changes from polygon to circle, which is called annular shell. According to the requirements, the annular shell can be cut into 4 elbows of 90 degrees or 6 elbows of 60 degrees or other specifications. This process is applicable to the case that the ratio of pitch diameter to elbow inner diameter of any specification is greater than 1.5.

Alloy elbows are mainly used to connect pipe fittings in pipe installation and to connect elbows. Connect two pipes of the same nominal diameter so that the pipe bends 90 ° or other angles. Alloy elbow is the general name of all kinds of elbows, with a variety of materials, such as carbon steel, manganese steel, nickel steel, etc. Alloy elbow is widely used. Ordinary bronze alloy elbows are more common in ordinary water pipes, but with the improvement of living standards, many water pipes use stainless steel elbows. Alloy elbows made of manganese steel are usually used for concrete pipes, mud pipes and other pipes with serious wear and consumption. This is because manganese steel has good resistance to impact, extrusion and material wear. Nickel steel alloy elbows are usually used in pipelines with high concentration of oxidizing acids (nitric acid, sulfuric acid) and other normal temperature pipelines. High manganese steel alloy elbows are used in pipelines with severe fluid flow and high impact force. However, unless the concentration of hydrochloric acid is very low, the pipeline of reducing acid (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, etc.) will be seriously corroded. Martensitic alloy elbow has high high temperature strength, oxidation resistance and water resistance below 650 ℃, and has vapor corrosion ability, but poor weldability. Therefore, it is commonly used in high-temperature steam transmission pipeline and water gas pipeline.
