DN 200 SCH 40 90° LR Elbow ASME B16.9 ASTM 403-WP304L Stainless Steel With Beveled Ends
An elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of a pipe.
According to the angle, there are 45 ° and 90 ° 180 ° three most commonly used, in addition, according to the needs of the project, it also includes 60 ° and other abnormal angle elbows.
Elbow materials are stainless steel, alloy steel, carbon steel and so on.
General requirement:
1. As most of the pipe fittings are used for welding, in order to improve the welding quality, the ends are chamfered with a certain angle and a certain edge. This requirement is also relatively strict. The thickness of the side, the angle and the deviation range are specified. For the convenience of welding, the steel grade of pipe fittings and connected pipes is the same, the surface quality and mechanical properties are basically the same as the pipe.
2. All the pipe fittings have to undergo surface treatment. The oxide scales on the inner and outer surfaces are sprayed off by shot peening, and then coated with anti-corrosion paint at the outer.
3. For small pipe fittings, such as size smaller than 6“, wooden cases should be made, about 1 cubic meter. It is stipulated that the number of elbows in such cases should not exceed one ton. The standard allows for suits, that is, large sets of small ones, but the total weight should not exceed 1 ton. For large pieces of Y type, they need to be packed individually. In addition, the packaging mark should indicate the size, steel grade, batch number, manufacturer's trademark, etc.
